Authorize.net
Pros
- No purchaser issues with using Authorize.net
- At the point when you are selling somewhere between $4,000 and $6,000 per month online, it becomes cheaper to use Authorize.net than PayPal because the discount rates for Visa and MasterCard are quite a bit less. Visa and MC make up the bulk of most clients' credit card sales.
- Authorize.net is one of the biggest and easiest to work with providers of internet payment gateways - offered by a great many banks nationwide.
- Hassle-free integration into your website payment system.
Cons
- Most programs require setup & monthly fees (Check with your provider).
- 2-3 Year Contract Required
- Authorize.net doesn't offer a hosted shopping cart. We use one I built just for your website, but it has fewer features than you will get with the PayJunction or PayPal shopping carts.
- Reporting features on the Authorize.net website are minimal.
- There are no facilities for simple recharging of cards on file for frequent customers.
- Additional setup required for subscription purchases.
- No facility for capturing and exporting customer information for marketing campaigns etc.
Note: You can pay an additional monthly fee for better features
